Payments and Contracts:

  • A Babysitter or Nanny in Dubai can be booked for a minimum of four hours and a standard transport charge of AED 100/ day will apply. If the location of service is distant i.e. Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Sports City, Dubai Production City, Motor City, Al Barsha South, Al Furjan, Dubai Investment Park, Dubai Industrial City, Mirdif, Al Warsan, Nad Al Hammar, Ras Al Khor, Al Khawaneej, Al Aweer, Dubai Outlet Mall, Meydan, Villanova, Mudon, Al Barari, Arabian, Ranches, Dubai Hills Estate, Bluewaters Island, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Dubai Expo 2020, Jebel Ali, Dubailand, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Emirates Hills, Golf city, Green Community, Town square, Golf Views, Dubai South, The Park, Dubai Industrial City, Damac Hills, Palm Jumeirah, JBR, Umm Suqeim, Dubai Marina, additional AED 100 distant location charge will apply.
  • Our rate is AED 65/ hour and the minimum booking is 4 hours, priced at AED 460, which includes AED 100 for transportation and an additional AED 100 for distant locations. However, if your location is not classified as distant, we are pleased to waive this additional fee of AED 100 for you.
  • Our standard rate is AED 65 per hour for up to two children. For each additional child, there is an added cost of AED 65 per hour. At Smart Babysitters, we are committed to providing your family with high-quality childcare, with no hidden fees. We prioritize transparency and affordability to ensure that excellent childcare is accessible to everyone. If one of the two children requires special care, we recommend hiring two nannies to ensure proper attention. However, if the client requests only one caregiver, the additional child rate of AED 65 per hour will apply due to the increased effort and specialized care required from the nanny.
  • It is recommended to schedule a Babysitter or Nanny in Dubai with more than 4 hours’ advance notice. Bookings made within 4 hours of the desired time will result in an additional urgent booking fee of AED 100.
  • Once the payment has been made for the services rendered, it is possible to get a refund based on our refund policy below. In case of any inconvenience or exceptional situation, contact us at 050 23 SMART (76278) or email us at care@smartbabysitters.com.
  • All services shall be deemed to have been carried out to the Client’s satisfaction unless written notice is received by Smart Babysitters within 4 hours of work being completed/services delivered.
  • For Monthly bookings, the price is inclusive of weekends and national holidays that fall within that month. In case services are required on those holidays too, they would be charged separately at our standard holiday/weekend charges.
  • In the event of payment for services being outstanding, a payment reminder email will be sent by our booking team. In the event of no action being taken following the same, our accountant will call you to establish if any further guidance or assistance is needed to make your payment.
  • Following team support to help you make a payment, if payment is still not made, it is Smart Babysitters’ policy that overall failure to pay the total amount before the service starts will result in a ceasing request being made with immediate effect.
  • The client is expected to provide 24 hours notice in case of cancellation for one-off bookings and 72 hours notice in the case of cancellation of a long-term or monthly bookings.
  • Smart Babysitters has the right to change childcare providers at any time during a long-term booking. In this situation, a substitute childcare provider will be provided who meets the same standard, shadowing will be provided to the client beforehand to ensure continuity of care and full handover provided.
  • Smart Babysitter retains the authority to substitute the babysitter or nanny for prearranged short-term or one-time bookings in the event of illness or unforeseeable circumstances beyond the company’s control.
  • Smart Babysitters reserves the right to increase prices with 30 days’ notice.
  • Babysitters should not be treated as domestic help within the home. Your child care provider will only assist in newborn baby care and other child care needs. In case you need someone with domestic help, you have to mention it in your requirements well in advance.
  • Childcare providers should not be exposed to any verbal, mental, or physical abuse while on assigned service duty.
  • A Caregiver will work for a maximum of 12 hours on any one shift. Anything outside these hours will require prior approval and will be provided at Smart Babysitters’ discretion.
  • Contracts over 12 hours or more daily will require more than one childcare provider to be allocated for the service.

Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC ensure all childcare providers are constantly updated on all practices and services to maintain high standards of care.

Rescheduling:

  • Smart Babysitters has the right to cancel or reschedule a service in cases where unexpected circumstances have befallen the assigned team.
  • You can cancel or change your booking request by contacting us at least one working day in advance to avoid any cancellation charges. Failing to do so will be charged as per the company’s cancellation policy mentioned above.
  • One or more than 1 working day’s notice will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Promotions | Packages | Offers:

  • Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC reserves the right to promote offers and packages and terminate at its discretion.
  • For promotional offers and packages like 100/200/300/400/500 hours package, the refund request can be placed only when the client is not satisfied with the services and notify us via email within 1 week of availing of our services. The amount for the unused hours will be refunded on a pro-rata basis after deducting the hours utilised at our standard rate of AED 65 per hour plus an AED 250 fee for processing the refund payment.
  • All packages expire as per the package’s validity. Unused hours cannot be carried forward unless explicitly agreed in writing.
  • No claims/reimbursements will be entertained after 120 days (Day 1 would be considered as the first day of the service provided).
  • Offers, Promotions, and Packages are valid from Monday- Friday between 8 am – 6 pm only.
  • It is not possible to guarantee the same caregiver for all bookings, but we can provide the same caregiver if the bookings are consistent for a few days or months. (applicable to all packages).
  • Additional charges apply between 6 pm – 7 am, on Weekends & Holidays.

Residential | Office Booking Extensions between (8 am – 6 pm):

  • Our Babysitters work on an hourly, monthly basis and on call. In case you intend to extend the booking, please notify us at least 1 Hour in advance so that we can make necessary transportation arrangements and notify the other clients of any expected delay.
  • Extended hours would be charged on an hourly basis at the standard rate of AED 65 per hour.

Residential | Office Booking Extensions between (7 pm – 7 am):

  • Our Night services are exclusive and in most cases, the transportation services are pre-paid. Any extensions must be notified in advance by more than 1 hour.
  • Requests received 1 hour before finishing time will be charged at AED 65 per hour.
  • Requests received within 1 hour will be charged at AED 65 per hour plus AED 100 for transportation.
  • The requests must be sent via WhatsApp to the customer care team that made the booking and to the caregiver assigned.
  • The payment for extended hours must be paid in cash to the caregiver.

Online payments:

  • We accept online payments using Visa, Mastercard debit, and credit cards through the payment link.
  • Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC’s website will NOT deal with or provide any services or products to any OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries, in accordance with the law of the UAE.
  • If because of any Force Majeure Event, Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC delayed in performing any of the provisions of the contract, then such delay shall not be deemed to be a breach of contract and no loss or damage shall be claimed by the other Party by reason thereof.

Force Majeure Event means any event affecting the performance of any provision of the agreement arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents that are beyond the reasonable control including, without limitation, any abnormally inclement weather, flood, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, earthquake, subsidence, structural damage, epidemic or other natural physical disasters, failure or shortage of power supplies, war, military operations, riot, crowd disorder, strike, lock-outs or other industrial action, terrorist action, civil commotion and any legislation, regulation, ruling or omission (including failure to grant any necessary permission) of any relevant government, court or competent national authority, including an order from the government of the United Arab Emirates prohibiting any services due for any reason.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • The booking cannot be cancelled or amended during or after the provision of the services.
  • Business working hours are from 8 am – 6 pm (All week).
  • A cancellation will be charged if the amendments or cancellation is made:
    • a fee of 50% within 24 hours of the scheduled service starting time.
    • Within 12 – 24 hours notice will incur 75% of the booking cost or AED 250 whichever is less.
    • Less than 12 business working hours’ notice will incur 100% of the booking cost for that day
  • In the case of credit card payment, a cancellation fee of 5% will be applied to the total refund amount because the credit card fee charged by our payment gateway provider is non-refundable. If the customer made the payment to our company bank account, a cancellation fee of 5% will not apply in that case and a full refund will be processed.
  • Smart Babysitters strives to deliver high-standard services every time. If a caregiver you have booked is unavailable or unable to fulfil the request, we will send a replacement.
  • Smart Babysitters will provide a replacement in case the client is not satisfied with the services. The replacement is limited to three. In a case where the client is not satisfied with all three caregivers’ services, Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC reserves the right to provide/terminate the services.
  • Refunds are applicable for monthly contracts and packages when the client cancels the services. If the Client wishes to terminate the contract after availing of some sessions, the refund will be processed after deducting the hours utilised at our standard rate as below:
    • AED 65 /Hour (for a minimum of 4 hours/ day or actual hours whichever is higher) plus an AED 250 fee for processing the refund payment
    • The amount will be refunded immediately and might reach to the client’s account within 6 working days.
  • Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC have zero tolerance towards racism. All our Babysitters and Nannies are recruited based on their qualifications, job-related experience and skills rather than the colour of their skin.
  • Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC will terminate the services If our staff are not treated well for stay-in/Live-in duties like asking them to work for more than 12 hours per day, not getting enough rest or food to eat on time or if they are not provided reasonable breaks in between if the duty is more than 8 hours.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the mobile application and website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE.

Complaints | Service-related concerns:

  • Any service-related complaint will be fully investigated, and attempts will be made to resolve it to the Client’s satisfaction.
  • In case of any claim regarding loss or damage to property by our staff or missing item(s), the company will not be responsible for any claims. whatsoever. In these circumstances, clients must inform us before the staff leaves their premises or within 4 hours of the service delivery.
  • For lost items, the client must report to the company within 4 hours of the service delivery. If the client wishes, he/she reserves the right to make a police complaint and Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC assures full cooperation in the process.
  • The company hire the staff after doing the due diligence. In case of any theft-like incident, the client must notify the police immediately and the company representative that you are dealing with. The company will fully comply and cooperate with the client and police to carry out the full investigation
  • We highly recommend installing CCTV cameras or hidden cameras to secure your property. 
  • Complaints received after 4 hours of availing of the services will not be entertained.
  • If the client has any concerns with the caregiver, the client shall notify the company operations In-Charge at +971 50 2376278
  • The Client will not engage directly with our caregiver for their future work-related schedules, instruct them to work in other locations or for other clients or permit them to go to other locations for any work. 
  • The contract or services shall be terminated with immediate effect if the client is engaged with our caregiver directly on anything other than the agreed job assigned by Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC.
  • If the client is found approaching our staff for sponsorship or employing them directly or indirectly, the contract with the company will be terminated with immediate effect and no refunds will be made to the client.
  • If the client intends to hire any caregiver who is currently working with Smart Babysitters and Caregivers Services LLC, the client will be responsible for paying a one-time fee of AED 4,000. Please send an email to care@smartbabysitters.com to discuss this further. 

Disputes and governing law

If you are unhappy with the services provided or a member of our staff, we hope you will first discuss any problems or issues with your childcare provider. If this fails to resolve the matter, please contact our customer services team. If neither of these resolves matters to your satisfaction, the matter will be referred to one of the practice directors, who will handle the complaint. This agreement is governed and construed by UAE law and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
